Who We Are
Our Services
CONNECT WITH US

Thank you for visiting our page. The Center for Recovery Resources recognizes that support in the recovery world has been greatly impacted by COVID-19. We are currently offering our services to you either in-person, over the phone, or online via zoom and Facebook to better meet you recovery needs.

The recovery center's doors are officially open! We are available from 9:00-4:30 Monday-Friday. If visiting in person, please be prepared to follow our safety recommendations such as wearing a face mask and sanitizing anything you come into contact with upon entering the building. If you don't have a face mask one will be provided for you. Thank you in advance for helping to keep us all safe.

If you choose to connect online.  We are available on Facebook messenger, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can also use our live chat app located on the bottom right hand section of this page.

We provide direct support and resource navigation to those impacted by substance use. Whether you are being negatively impacted by substance use  or you are the family/friend of someone who is, our trained staff & volunteers, and our peer community members want to help. For more information or to make an appointment for recovery coaching, please call 603-287-7127.

Services we offer, face to face meetings are suspended right now:

Individual Recovery Planning
(Resource/Service Navigation, 1:1 Coaching, Goal Planning, Advocacy, and Telephone Recovery Support Services)

Community Engagement
(Educational Workshops, Regional Events, Recovery Workforce Training, and Outreach)

Family Support Services
Parenting Journey in Recovery Program, Support for Loved Ones Impacted by Addiction, Community Events, and Education)

Support Groups
We offer a variety of support groups that can be attended in-person or virtually from home. Please visit our services page for more information.

*Some recovery support programs, including those within the 12-step model are autonomous organizations and are not affiliated with outside enterprises. The Center is proud to provide space for members of those programs to host meetings and events that align with our mission.
Meetings Calendar
The meetings are subject to change based on the operational hours of The Center and weather. Please check the Facebook page to make sure the meeting has not been cancelled or call us at 603-287-7127.
Peer Recovery Resources
Recovery navigators, resource brokers, peer helpers, recovery mentor, peer recovery coach… there are several different names given to the men and women who do this work, but the core services provided in a peer-based setting include:
  • Peer mentoring or coaching—developing a one-on-one relationship in which a peer leader with recovery experience encourages, motivates, and supports a peer in recovery.
  • Peer recovery resource connecting—connecting the peer with professional and nonprofessional services and resources available in the community.
  • Recovery group facilitation—facilitating or leading recovery-oriented group activities, including support groups and educational activities.
  • Building community—helping peers make new friends and build healthy social networks through emotional, instrumental, informational, and affiliation types of peer support.

What To Do If Someone Is In Crisis
If a person approaches you who is in crisis with their addiction, we recommend the following steps:

Emergency
  • If it appears to be an emergency, direct them to call 911 or call 911 yourself. Stay with them until help arrives if you feel safe with them. If you do not feel safe, direct them to a place where they can be safe and not a threat to others or themselves.
  • Or, you can direct them to the emergency room at Valley Regional Hospital. Hospital staff will call The Center for assistance if needed.
Non-Emergency
  • If they are in crisis but it is not an emergency situation, please have them call The Center at 603-287-7127 and leave a message if no one is available. If it is during The Center’s open hours, a staff member will respond to their message as soon as they are able to.
